D'Dur (Imp)

D'Dur (Imp) (Donnerhall/Landadel/Zeus). DE 333-33-08071-98 (Oldenburger).

Available through Revelwood Warmblood Stud, Somersby, New South Wales.

Second Reserve Champion at the Oldenburg Stallion Licensing in Vechta, Germany in 2000.

Approved for Oldenburg.

Available by fresh, chilled and frozen semen for $2,800.00 inc. GST and LFG.

D'Dur (Imp)The premium licensed Oldenburg stallion D'Dur was imported to Australia in 2010 by Amanda and David Shoobridge of Revelwood Warmblood Stud from Karin Rehbein's Gestüt Grönwohldhof in Grönwohld, Germany. D'Dur, born 1998, was bred by Paul and Hilde Wendeln of Gestüt Wendeln. Pictured left: D'Dur under saddle with David Shoobridge in March, 2011. Photo: Photo Finish Photography ©.

D'Dur was second Reserve Champion at the Oldenburg Stallion Licensing in Vechta, Germany, in 2000. "This bay stallion has a strong uphill tendency, his lift off in trot is ideal and he develops the greatest possible impulsion. This stallion was also pleasing in a canter and in free jumping" reported the press enthusiastically. D'Dur's general index for his 70 Day Stallion Performance Test held at Adelheidsdorf, Germany, in 2001 was 99.61 points (HR), with a dressage index of 109.76 points (HR) and 88.25 for jumping (HR)*.

To date D'Dur has not bred a lot of offspring but what he has produced has been successful in dressage. Most of the time he has been competing rather than being used as a breeding stallion, with his brilliant character and trainability. He has had two starts at Grand Prix dressage in Germany and commenced his dressage career in Australia at Advanced level under David Shoobridge. D'Dur and David are currently competing Prix St George level.

D'Dur is out of Gestüt Wendeln's Bundeschampion mare St. Pr. St. C'Dur (Landadel/Zeus/Armand). In 1998 C'Dur became the German Elite Mare Champion. She produced four licensed offspring, one of which was D'Dur. C'Dur is the mother of the licensed stallion Ashby (Argentinus/Landadel/Zeus) bred by Paul Wendeln from Garrel, Germany, who stood at Zuchthof Klatte and also the up and coming PSI Prodigy Donneradel (Donnerhall/Landadel/Zeus), a full brother to D'Dur. At the 70th anniversary auction in Vechta, Germany, in April 2009, a D'Dur son was sold for 20,000 Euros to the United States.

Landadel (Landgraf I/Farnese/Ladykiller xx) is known throughout the world as being one of the great dual purpose sires. His Holsteiner heritage combines a double cross of the Thoroughbred stallion Ladykiller xx (Sailing Light xx/Loaningdale xx/Apron xx) with the great Holstein stallion Farnese (Faehnrich/Loretto/First). Landadel has produced a vast number of international showjumpers and dressage horses.

Diamond Hit (IFS)

Diamond Hit (IFS) (Don Schufo/Ramino/Welt As). DE 333-33-02844-97 (Oldenburger).

Available through Waterview Park, Somersby, New South Wales.

Licensing/HLP information to be added.

Approved for Hannover, Oldenburg, Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar, Westfalen, Rheinland.

Available by frozen semen for $2,195.00 per dose inc. GST.

Diamond Hit (IFS)Diamond Hit, born 1997, was bred by Reinhold Harder of Bramsche, Germany. He was licensed in Oldenburg, Germany, in November 1999, completing his 30 Day Stallion Performance Test (HLP) in Vechta, Germany, in November 2000, placing third overall with 8.73 points (3/27). His dressage index was 8.73 points (?/27) and his jumping index was 8.3 (?/27). Pictured left: Diamond Hit under saddle with Emma Hindle (GBR).

Diamond Hit's sire Don Schufro (Donnerhall/Pik Bube I/Unkenruf) comes from the highly esteemed Vornholz Kebandina line, made his debut in breeding in Oldenburg where his son Diamond Hit, a premium stallion and Vice Bundeschampion, was a sensation. Don Schufro then moved to Denmark where he was ridden first by Lars Pedersen and then with Andreas Helgstrand, taking the hurdle to the international dressage stage.

In 2002 Diamond Hit became the Vice World Champion as well as Vice Bundeschampion of five year old dressage horses. A year earlier he had taken the Vice State Champion and Vice Bundeschampion title for four year old stallions. At the 2001 Bundeschampionat he received an award from the German Department of Agriculture as the best licensed and performance tested stallion. Diamond Hit is meanwhile successful up to Advanced class of international level with Emma Hindle (GBR). Under Emma Hindle he placed in the Grand Prix of Aachen, Wiesbaden and Stadl Paura/AUT. At a show in Fritzens, Austria, he took second and third place in the Small Tour and also placed up front in Wiesbaden. In 2007 he finished second in the Grand Prix Tour of Stadl-Paura (AUT).

Diamond Hit's son Donavan (Diamond Hit/Consul/Anduc) became the 2005 Bundeschampion of four year old stallions in Warendorf and in 2006 he took the Vice Bundeschampion title in the class for five year old dressage horses. Diamond Hit's daughter Loxana (Diamond Hit/Argentinus/Larinero) won the Oldenburg Verband's Elite Broodmare show in Rastede, in which ten of his daughters alone were awarded State Premium candidate status. Diamantenbörse (Diamond Hit//) took the State Champion title in the class for three year old riding horses at the same venue. Both of them enhanced the Vechta Elite Auction in the autumn of 2005 and sold for high prices. The number of his sons that have been licensed has meanwhile increased to 14. In 2005 he received the coveted VTV Dressage Stallion of the Year award on the occasion of the Oldenburg stallion test. According to his own performance record and the achievements of his offspring, Diamond Hit ranks on eleventh place among all sires though out Germany in the FN's estimated breeding values statistics in 2008.

For many years Don Schufro has led the FN's estimated breeding value statistics for dressage stallions. The dam El. St. Loretta first produced Sandro Hit (Sandro Song/Ramino/Welt As), then Diamond Hit (Don Schufro/Ramino/Welt As) and finally Royal Hit (Imp) (Royal Dance/Ramino/Welt As), making her probably the most influential Oldenburg mare of her generation. She also produced Sandro Hit's full sister St. Pr. St. La Traviata, who presented a top foal at the elite auction in Vechta in the autumn of 1999 called Really Hitlike (?/Sandro Song/Ramino). This line produced various auction horses and foals. Loretta's sire Ramino (Ramiro Z/Dominik/Gospodin) who was the Italian show jumping champion five times as well as Welt As (Weltmeister/Furioso II/Miracolo xx), the next link in the pedigree, have become performance makers of world renown.

His origin already predetermines Diamond Hit as a top sire: His father Don Schufro v. Donnerhall now ranks second in the breeding evaluation (index 171) according to the national breeding value assessment. Above all, his mother Loretta, who he shares with Sandro Hit, added special recommendations to the pedigree. After being successful with Emma Hindle up to Grand Prix level, Diamond Hit should still have some sport highlights to come. He qualified for the Olympic Games in 2008 and as 16 wins and placings at Grand Prix. DIAMOND HIT: Approved Stallions: 37 State Premium Mares: 15.

Offspring with placing at Advanced: 18 International Grand Dark Diamond with Prix placed: Hubertus Schmidt 3rd Stuttgart CDI 5* Winning from Offspring: 111.461,- € Expensive offspring: 760.000,- € His current dressage index of 156 (FN breeding value assessment 2010) underlines his worth as a breeder in an impressive way.

Half brother to Sandro Hit 2001 Vice Federal Campion 2002 Vice Federal Champion 2002 Vice World Young Dressage Horse Champion 2005 Oldenburg Breeding stallion of the year! Sire of Bundeschampion Donovan Headlines highlight the road to success of the still young Diamond Hit, who made his claim to international fame in 2005: his licensed son Donavan became Bundeschampion in Warendorf in the four-year old stallion class, his daughter Loxana was the sovereign champion at the Oldenburg Elite Mare show in Rastede, where ten Diamond Hit daughters were named State Premium Mare. Diamantbörse became Oldenburg Regional Champion for 3-year old riding horses and achieved a top knock down price at the Vechta Elite Auction in the autumn of 2005. The amount of licensed offspring is currently ticking at nine and is still rising. The apex of the season was achieved at the 2005 Oldenburg Stallion Days, where Diamond Hit was proclaimed VTV-Dressage Stallion of the Year and the icing on the cake is that he is currently ranking tenth on the FN- Breeding Value Index. His sport career has also been marked by a string of success. In 2002 he became Reserve Champion of the 5-year old division at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden and at the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf. The year prior, he was reserve regional and reserve bundeschampion in the four-year old stallion division. At the 2001 Bundeschampionate, the German ministry of Agriculture proclaimed him Best Licensed and Performance Tested stallion. At the moment, Diamond Hit is currently trained and competed at S-level. Diamond Hit descends from the best bloodlines. His sire Don Schufro, who has been leading the FN-Breeding Value Index since 2001, is currently competed by the Danish Andreas Helgstrand at Grand Prix level. His dam, Elite Mare Loretta, also produced Sandro Hit, the World Champion and Bundeschampion of the 6-year old dressage horses. The premium stallion Royal Hit is her third licensed son. Dam sire Ramino, who became five-time Italian Show Jumping Champion, and Welt As complete Diamond Hit's pedigree and genetically secure performance potential.

Earl (IFS)Earl (IFS), born 1999, and bred by Elke von Beyme of Dorfmark, Germany. He was licensed at the Hanoverian stallion approvals in 2001 in Verden, Germany. Earl completed his 70 Day Stallion Performance Test (HLP) in Adelheidsdorf in October, 2002, placing first overall with 143.93 points (1/50). His dressage index was 139.93 points (2/50) and his jumping index was 127.55 (3/50). Earl received excellent scores in all parts of the index, gaining 8's for character, temperament and conformation and 9's for willingness to perform, trot and walk and rideability. He received 8's for his canter as well as 8's for natural jumping ability and free jumping.

Earl gained second place in the dressage criteria and third in the jumping criteria which made him first overall out of fifty stallions in his year. He is a dual purpose sire for both disciplines (dressage and jumping) which is reflected in his outstanding pedigree and breeding value scores. Meanwhile, Earl has won multiple showjumping tests up to medium level.

Earl was included in the Hanoverian Showjumper Breeding Program and due to his above average movements, he will also be shown in dressage in the future. Since 2003, he has been in service at the insemination station Stader Geest in Bargstedt, where he presented first foal crop in 2004 which received a lot of attention. Several of his progeny have been admitted to the Verden foal auctions.

Earl has to date sired one licensed son in Hanover, twenty four auction horses and sixteen state premium mares. In 1999, Earl was proclaimed the best stallion of all breeding stallions born in 1999 in the Niedersachsenhalle in Verden, Germany. On the occasion of the delegates' conference of the Hanoverian Society, his breeder Elke von Beyme was awarded the Burchard Müller Prize.

Fidertanz (IFS)

Fidertanz (IFS) (Fidermark/Ravallo/Fruhlingstraum II). DE 443-43-06132-02 (Rheinländer).

Available through International Horse Breeders, Eppalock, Victoria.

Winner of his thirty day Stallion Performance Test (HLP) at Neustadt-Dösse, Germany in 2005.

Approved for Hanover, Oldenburg, Rheinland and Westphalia including all southern verbands and Sweden.

Available by frozen semen for $1,900.00 per dose (plus transport, handling and insurance, and nitrogen).

Fidertanz (IFS)Fidertanz (IFS), born 23 May, 2002, and bred by Hermann Schult of Hengststation Schult, Hünxe, Germany. He was the Champion Stallion at the 14th Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW) main Stallion Licensing (Westfalen Hengstkörung) from 29 November - 01 December, 2004, in Münster-Handorf, Germany. One year later he dominated his thirty day Stallion Performance Test (HLP) (15 November, 2005) at Neustadt-Dösse, Germany, scoring 8.38 for walk, 9.0 for trot and 8.5 for canter with 9.25 for rideability! Pictured left: Fidertanz. Photo: Kiki Beelitz ©.

In 2005, Fidertanz was the Vice Federal Champion at the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, Germany, with a score of 9.5 from the guest rider. His first crop of foals was sensational, bringing top prices at all of the Verband auctions and in Oldenburg his foals received scores of 9.0. On the basis of this result, he was awarded the I-a Main Premium at the 2006 Oldenburg licensing in Vechta, Germany, for stallions with emphasis on dressage. In 2007, Fidertanz received a score of 8.8 in a qualifier for the Bundeschampionate and thus fulfilled the performance requirements for licensing. He meanwhile collects ribbons in dressage up to St. Georges.

Fidertanz's offspring are highly coveted and bring top prices, proven by high priced foals in Verden, Vechta, Münster-Handorf in Germany as well as in Switzerland. In 2008, a Fidertanz colt bred by Elisabeth Albers in Löningen won the German Foal Championships in Lienen.

Six of Fidertanz's sons from his first crop were licensed, including the NRW Champion Stallion Flanagan (Fidertanz/Rubiloh/Ehrentusch), who later participated in the Bundeschampionate. The number of licensed sons has meanwhile increased to sixteen. Among these was a price highlight at the stallion market in Verden named Feuerspiel (Fidertanz/De Niro/Jet Stream xx) who came with a price tag of 220,000 Euros and a son named Fürstentanz (Fidertanz/Riccione/Weltmeyer) who took sixth place at the 2010 Bundeschampionate.

Fidertanz's daughters are of no less significance. For example, the Oldenburg Champion Mare, Fifty-Fifty (Fidertanz/De Niro/?), who had already taken the Champion Filly title at the German Foal Championships in Lienen and has now been sold to the Sven Rothenberger for further training. Florencia (Fidertanz//) became the ZfdP Champion Mare, Fider's Tanzmarie (Fidertanz//) was the Second Reserve Champion Mare in Münster-Handorf, Germany. Seventy offspring just from his first two crops are now winning ribbons in tests for young riding horses and dressage horses which, according to the FN's predicted breeding value statistics, catapulted their sire to a top place among the best sires in Germany for rideability.

Fidertanz is by Fidermark (Dec) (Florestan I/Werther/Einblick), who was the winner of his stallion performance test, Bundeschampion and Grand Prix winner who left the breeding stage early. His dam, granddam and great granddam are from the performance line of Astfläche (Assign II/Jucker/Alsterkönig) who all received a State Premium.

Floriscount (IFS)

Floriscount (IFS) (Florencio I/Donnerhall/Walldorf I). DE 433-33-04633-05 (Oldenburger).

Available through Elite Frozen Foals.

Winner of the dressage section of his stallion licensing at Schlieckau, Germany on 147.49 points in 2008.

Licensed Oldenburg and Hanover.

Available by frozen semen for $1,300.00 per dose.

Floriscount (IFS)

Sire: Floriscount (IFS) (Florencio I/Donnerhall/Walldorf I), born on the 25 April 2005, bred by Andrea and Clemens Merveldt (Graf von Merfeldt) of Gut Füchtel, Vechta, Germany. He is currently standing at Hengststation Böckmann in Lastrup, Germany, and is also available through the Celle State Stud. He is licensed for Oldenburg, Hanover, Rhineland, Westphalia and all southern German breeding associations. Pictured left: Floriscount under breeder-owner Clemens Merveldt. Photo: Kiki Beelitz ©.

Floriscount was the winner of the dressage section of his seventy day Stallion Performance Test (HLP) at Schlieckau, Germany, from September to November in 2008 on 147.49 points and second overall with 128.80 points (2/39). He received a score of 10.0 from both test riders also scoring 8.38 for walk, 9.0 for trot and 10.0 for canter. Floriscount unites type, size and presence with outstanding rideability and temperament as well as excellent gaits and he passes on all of these traits to his offspring. Right from the beginning, Floriscount was one of the most popular young stallions during his first breeding season in 2009 for Hannover and Oldenburg.

In April, 2010, Gut Füchtel held a successful open day where they presented more than twenty five foals from Floriscount's first foal crop to more than eighteen hundred visitors and interested breeders. The judges Uwe Heckmann, Hans Heinrich Brüning and Jens Meyer were impressed by the quality and type of his offspring and selected four foals for the Oldenburg and Hanoverian Elite auctions. During 2011, Floriscount produced the champion foal (Floriscount/Sunny Boy/?) at the Hagen Foal Selection Show as well as being a stand out sire during the 2011 German Foal Selection Shows. In August of 2011, auction foals and show winners all over the country made Floriscount more famous and therefore he had the second largest crop of foals in the Verden Elite auction.

At the Verden Elite Foal Auction during August, 2011, Firework (Floriscount/Lauries Crusador xx/Wolkentanz I), bred by Erika Lütjen from Grasberg, Germany, fetched the highest price with 24.000 euro. Floriscount had the largest crop of foals in this Elite auction with twenty one offspring in the catalogue. Future Ace (Floriscount/Dormello/Silvio I), bred by Ann Kitchel, was selected for the Elite auction in Vechta during October, 2011. Future Ace is the full brother to Future Star who was the highest priced colt at the 48th Summer Mixed Sales of Oldenburg sport horses in Vechta, Germany, in 2010. Future Star was sold to Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff.

Floriscount's dam El. St. Arkona (Donnerhall/Walldorf I/Tin Rocco) has produced six colts. To date, four of these colts are licensed including Floriscount's full brothers Florimax (sold to Tony and Sarah Pidgley of Kilbees Farm Stud in Great Britain for 45,000 euro at the 2007 Vechta Foal Auction) and Floriscount II (who became licensed and received the Premium Award at the Mecklenburg stallion day at Redefin in 2009), as well as the Premium Stallion Sandakan (Sandro Hit/Donnerhall/Walldorf I) who has already produced outstanding offspring at Flyinge, the National Stud of Sweden.

In July, 2010, Floriscount qualified for the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, Germany, in September, 2010, at the Vlotho-Exter show. He finished in third place (3/22) with owner-rider Clemens von Merveldt on 8.0 points in the five year old division. Source: Euro Dressage. Due to his intense breeding season, Floriscount did not attend the finals in September although he did place in numerous elementary (L) level tests for young dressage horses throughout the year. On 14 May, 2011, Floriscount qualified for the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, Germany, for a second time. It was his second show during 2011 where he won the warm up with a breathtaking round with 81.00%. On the Saturday he received 82.00% and was third overall, qualifying with Markus Gribbe.

Since October, 2010, Grand Prix trainer and rider Markus Gribbe has continued with Floriscount's training along with his breeder-owner Clemens von Merveldt. In January, 2011, Floriscount had his first start in the six year old FEI classes with Markus Gribbe with an overall score of 79.00%.

Graçieux (IFS/Dec)

Graçieux (IFS/Dec) (Grannus/Akzent II/Frohnherr). DE 333-33-06635-93 (Oldenburger).

Available through International Horse Breeders, Eppalock, Victoria.

Reserve Champion of his Stallion Performance Test at Neustadt-Dosse, Germany on 125.46 points (2/41) in 1996.

Approved for Oldenburg, OSI, Hanover, Westphalia, Rhineland, Mecklenburg Vorpommern, all southern German associations and Austria.

Available by frozen semen for $2,955.00 for three doses (plus transport, handling and insurance, and nitrogen).

Graçieux (IFS/Dec)Graçieux, born on the 05 February 1993, was bred by Astrid Schmitz of Essen, Germany. He was licensed at the Oldenburg stallion approvals in 1995 in Oldenburg, Germany and completed his 100 Day Stallion Performance Test (HLP) in Neustadt-Dosse in October, 1996, placing second overall with 125.46 points (2/41). His dressage index was 121.02 points (5/41) and his jumping index was 124.72 (6/41).

After success in basic tests for youngsters in 2004, Graçieux took second place in the Vienna Indoor Derby under Gilbert Böckmann and became the Weser-Ems Champion. In 2005, this time with Alina Klatte, Graçieux came second at the Weser-Ems Championships. In 2006, Graçieux and Alina took fifth place at the Preis der Besten, which qualified them for a place on the young rider show jumping C-team in 2007. They also placed at the CHIO in Utrecht, Netherlands, in the competition for junior riders and took second place with the Weser-Ems team at the Salut Festival in Aachen, Germany.

Graçieux has always proved that his most important characteristics are his willingness to perform and his good character. He not only demonstrates an ideal technique and an exemplary bascule himself, his offspring also have a perfect jumping technique with a willingness to perform. His first crops have continuously produced horses that win ribbons up to Advanced (S) level. In spite of small first crops, several of these horses from his debut years have been successful all the way to Advanced (S) level. Another outstanding characteristic that Graçieux possesses and passes on is a pronounced type which can be explained by the ancestors on his dam's side through Akzent II (Absatz/Waidmannsdank xx/Ferdinand), Fronherr (Furioso II/Jonkherr xx/Athener) and the Vice World Champion in eventing, Volturno (Vollkorn xx/Monolete xx/Erbe).

The number of direct Grannus sons that are active in breeding is slowly but surely dwindling; the reason it is all the more important that this bloodline, which was just as important for Zuchthof Klatte in Klein Roscharden, Germany, as it was for international show jumping, remains available. The call for the "G" bloodline is justified. Grannus is also the dam sire of many famous horses such as Sandro Boy (Sandro/Grannus/Argentinus), For Pleasure (Furioso II/Grannus/Goya) and Couleur Rubin (Cordalmé Z/Grannus/Ramino). Graçieux is very much like his sire Grannus (Graphit/Ozean/Gotthard) in many ways, passing on that special Grannus flair to his children.

With great sadness on the 17 March, 2010, Zuchthof Klatte announced that Graçieux had to be put down.
